Create An Android Service With Delphi XE5 Firemonkey

Android Service In Delphi FiremonkeyBrian Long, an Embarcadero MVP, posted on his blog “It’s a blong, blong, blong road…“, a two part instruction, along with a code snipplet, on how to create a Delphi XE5 Android service application to compliment a FireMonkey Mobile application. In part I of his instructions, Brian shows it is possible, and he provides a link to his app on Google Play, which implements a service.  In Part II, Brian goes a step further and provides the source and instructions to implement your own (warning those that do, that it is neither particularly easy or straightforward and that they should do so at their own risk.).

Head over and get the source for writing your own Android service in Delphi.
