If you are looking to stream audio in Delphi Firemonkey there is a new streaming audio wrapper library available for the BASS audio streaming library over on Github. You can use the library to stream internet radio like data from Shoutcast and Icecast servers. The wrapper specifically supports Android and Windows but the BASS library also supports IOS and Mac OSX. You should be able to add those platforms yourself to the wrapper without too much trouble. It supports adjustable buffering and proxy servers as well. Obviously full source code for the wrapper is available but the BASS library is a commercial library. BASS is free for non-commercial use and there is a licensing fee for commercial use. The wrapper library is written for Delphi XE7 but should also work in Delphi XE8 and Appmethod with few if any changes.
