Free Flat Rectangle Icon Button Component For Delphi XE6 Firemonkey On Android And IOS

Delphi XE6 Firemonkey Flat Rect Button ComponentDeveloper Barış Atalay from Turkey has a blog post up with a new component called TFlatRectButton for Delphi XE6 Firemonkey. The TFlatRectButton is based on a previous post we did with source code from the Embarcadero forum on building a button out of the TRectangle component. The TFlatRectButton uses the ideas from that post and turns it into a new component. The TFlatRectButton has a settings property where you can customize the button color, the hover color, and the pressed color. Additionally, you can set a bitmap icon, give it an alignment, and also setup the text properties for the button. The component comes with a demo project that demonstrates three different styles of buttons created with the TFlatRectButton. The free component should run across all Firemonkey platforms including Android, IOS, Windows, and OSX. It should work in Delphi XE5 and AppMethod with only minor tweaks needed (if any) and comes with full source code. The blog post is in Turkish so use Google Chrome or another translator.

Head over and check out the full blog post with screenshots showing how to use TFlatRectButton.
