There is a set of open source components for Delphi XE5 Firemonkey Android that wraps a lot of the native Android controls for use in Firemonkey. It is called D.P.F Delphi Android Native Components. There is also an IOS version if you’re developing for IOS. This suite of components wraps a lot of the native Android controls like ImageView, AlertDialog, ListView, TabHost, and Toast. One different between the Android version and the IOS version is that currently there is no custom paint event for your Form. This means you can mix and match visual Firemonkey controls with these Android wrapper controls on the same form. The component suite for Android is currently (early 2014) not as mature as the one for IOS. There are still a lot of Android controls that it looks like they will be adding wrappers for soon (like WebView). It also includes demos which demonstrate how to use each of the controls.
