Developer Thomas Grubb has released an updated beta version of the RiverSoftAVG Charting Component Suite for Delphi XE7 Firemonkey. We’ve written about this component suite before and you can read about it here. It looks like there are a lot of new features available including new chart types, online documentation, more sample screenshots of the various charts, and even a new legend component. The new chart types include Sparse Bar Chart, Donut Chart, Donut+ Chart, Bubble Chart, High/Low/Average Chart, and CandleStick Chart. The new functions available for use with the charts transform source values into target values using functions like minimum and maximum. There is also a grouping capability like percentage of chart values and all values in the same hour/day/week. A new component called TRSChartLegendBox takes care of making a legend for your chart. And a second new component called TRSChartPanel handles hints and mouse tracking lines. This is a commercial component suite but is free for non-commercial use so full source code is available. If you use it in a commercial endeavor you need a license for that. The component suite works on Android, IOS, OSX, and Windows and additionally it probably compiles in Appmethod as well.
