TMS Software has updated their TMS iCL component pack with a new component called TTMSFMXNativeMultipeerConnectivity for Delphi XE6 Firemonkey. The TMS iCL components are a set of native wrapper components for IOS devices. It looks very similar to the App Tethering feature that ships with Delphi XE6 except that it is for IOS devices only. In this case the TTMSFMXNativeMultipeerConnectivity component wraps the native IOS MCBrowserViewController class. It allows you to find nearby devices and invite them to a session for sharing data. Integers, strings, booleans, doubles, objects, and files can all be shared between peers in the same session. One main use for this component is to easily allow transfering files between IOS devices without having to go through a server. TMS iCL is a commercial component pack and should also support Delphi XE5 and AppMethod.
