If you are looking for help with your Delphi Firemonkey application you might try posting your project on oDesk. oDesk lists 1400 people who have Delphi listed as one of theirs skills. I have had pretty good luck with posting projects on there so far as I’ve hired four different Delphi developers to tackle various problems for between $15 and $20 an hour. There are a lot of 15 year Delphi veterans listed. You can really save yourself some time by piecing out parts of your project that you may not know how to do or have the time to do yourself. Let’s say you have a graphical operation or image manipulation that you want to do with your Delphi Firemonkey app for Android or IOS and instead of researching and spending a bunch of time figuring out how to do it yourself you can hire someone else to just complete that specific piece. With oDesk you can hire developers by the hour and the developer can use the oDesk time tracking application which gives you 10 minute snap shots of their desktop so you can verify what they are working on.
I have tried with oDesk based on your advice but did not have luck, even after spending several months and dozen of candidates. Still want to try again some time but for now I would have to enhance my understanding first.
It happens. One of my recent hires did some work, disappeared for 45 days without delivering any code, and is back to finish the project now. Go figure.
